You can compare fractions by checking if they are greater than, less than, or equal to the benchmark fraction 1/2. If one fraction is less than 1/2 and another is greater than 1/2, the one greater than 1/2 is larger.

💡 Look at the numerator; if it is less than half of the denominator, the fraction is less than 1/2.
